The objective of the meeting is to exchange business ideas and explore business opportunities in both districts. during the session one fantastic out of the box idea was shared by a VCCI member company representative Mr. Winston S. K. Adams, Vice President, Fluentgrid Limited that when all industry committee segments are pretty actively engaged at Vizianagaram - if a IT Sub-Committee can be established in the Vizianagaram Chamber of Commerce and a plan to establish Vizianagaram as a IT hub would be great. It can cater to the huge number of educated youth (graduates, MCA and B.Tech in Computer Science) hailing from Palasa to Vizianagaram districts who are migrating to major cities and metros in want of a job. This will not only act as a boon for the students and their parents but also lead to economic growth of this region. All in all a decentralised IT cluster can be established, therefore contributing to the GDP of Andhra Pradesh as a whole. A detailed plan can be carved out after doing a survey of these districts with the concerned stakeholders and presented to honourable IT Minister and then to our honourable Chief Minister for their kind consideration. Hope this partnership between VCCI established in 1931 and the Vizianagaram Chamber of Commerce & Industry established in 1947 goes a long way in propelling its Members businesses and our country’s economy as a whole.
