AWARENESS PROGRAMME ON NEW INCOME TAX ACT – 2025

We are pleased to inform that an Awareness Programme conducted by the Income Tax Department, Visakhapatnam, held on 28th April 2026 at the Dredging Corporation of India, Visakhapatnam.

The session was held under the leadership of Principal Commissioner of Income Tax, B. Srinivas IRS. Officials from the department explained the key provisions, rules, and forms under the New Income Tax Act – 2025, with a focus on its simplified structure and improved clarity.

The Programme highlighted how the new Act aims to reduce ambiguities, streamline compliance, and make taxation more transparent and user-friendly for entrepreneurs and taxpayers.

The VCCI President, M. Sudarsan Swamy, was invited as a speaker by the Principal Commissioner of Income Tax. On behalf of VCCI, he expressed appreciation to the Income Tax Department for their efforts in simplifying the tax framework, noting that these changes would greatly benefit the business community.
