A Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit, membership association dedicated to protecting and improving the business climate and quality of life within a specific region. Although Chambers often work with large public agencies, that provides networking, marketing, resources and referrals for your business

In 1931, businesses came together to promote the interests of business and formed the The Vizagapatam Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

No, the Chamber is not a part of government, but does work closely with our municipality to communicate important business and community news and information to our local businesses.

Our members represent all types of businesses and industries both small and large. Examples of our members include financial services, manufacturing, retail, health care, real estate, hospitality, and communications. Whether you just started your business or have been in business for decades, our staff is here to support you and provide you with the resources relevant to your business or organization.

As a Chamber member you can boost your community image and increase your sales. A recent national survey found that consumers are 63% more likely to buy from Chamber members.

We offer members various opportunities to connect with peers, government officials and business leaders. Members receive timely, relevant information to stay informed; professional development workshops and seminars to gain valuable knowledge and skills; and policy and communications expertise to assist in advocating positions and business interests. Check out a comprehensive list of benefits on our Members page.http://www.vizagchamber.com/membership/
