The Vizagapatam Chamber of Commerce and Industry(VCCI) had a meeting with His Excellency Mr. Pham Sanh Chau, India Vietnam Ambassador, Mr. Bui Trung Thuong, Trade Counsellor and their team. 

In his opening remarks Mr. G. VeeraMohan President of VCCI said that VCCI is celebrating its 90th year and from last 90 years the VCCI is serving the business community and the people of Vizag. He also said that Vizag is strategically located on east cost and suitable for Vietnamese to start their businesses. 

He said that chamber members from various sectors such as Seafood, Textiles, Logistics, Hospitality and Tourism, Jewellery, Real Estate and Infrastructure will be interested to expand their businesses to Vietnam.

Later his excellency Mr. Chau addressed the gathering and said that he has visited Visakhapatnam couple of times to study pharma city

He said  this time he was happy to meet a wider spectrum of industries through VCCI. His Excellency told that he was very much priveleged to see the Naval exercise and to meet the Navy Chief. 

He said that a Vietnam Naval ship with large number of crew is participating in Milan. 
Mr. Chau told that he tried to help many big companies to improve bilateral trade between Vietnam and India and now he is trying to work with small and medium sized companies to improve the business further. He shared an open invitation to VCCI members to invest in Vietnam and vice versa. 

He also said that a big real estate company from Vietnam is planning to develop a mega city project in India and he feels that Vizag is the best place to execute that idea.

He said that shortly he will be meeting the honourable Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh with a proposal. He said that Vizag is a beautiful city and he fell in love with this city. 

Mr. Chau expressed his interest in expanding their logistics and sea connectivity with Vizag. He then finally told that he and his team would be in touch with VCCI for future business relationship.

Mr. Bui Trung Thoung also addressed the members of VCCI and invited them to visit Vietnam. He said that India and Vietnam got excellent business and political relationship and Vietnam is a friendly country for investments. 

Members of chamber also interacted with His Excellency and his team,  shared the details about their business activities and interests to do business with Vietnam. 

VCCI President Mr. Veeramohan and Secretry Mr. Ravi Godey honoured His excellency Mr. Pham Sanh Chau with a shawl and presented mementos and thanked Mr.Chau and his office members for spending time with VCCI and sharing business opportunities.
